Biography
Born in Barcelona (Spain) moved to London in 2001 pursuing a new challenge after having worked in a number of fields.

His background in Architecture, Computer Science and 2D animation blends into a different approach to problem solving. Now as 3D Creative Director and VFX Supervisor he is responsible for innovation and creative excellence at The Mill, one of the most awarded post production houses in the world

As a result of this he has been recognised with numerous awards like; Multiple BTAA Craft Awards, multiple Clio Awards, D&AD yellow pencil, Australia Effects and Animation Festival, Australia's Young Guns, London International Awards and others for his work in multiple commercials, from Playstation "Mountain" to Toohey's "The Quest".

His latest work is a continuation in his ground experimentation with advanced ilumination methods.

Talk Synopsis

Lighting techniques for the 21st century

A journey exploring current lighting techniques and future methods and their structural and logistical implications, from network and disk space to workflow limitations and render management. During the talk I will propose a change on practices that will leverage a different economic scenario along new workflow from scanning to delivery.
